News Wiggin advises Fulwell 73 on its merger with The SpringHill Company

We’re delighted to have advised production company, Fulwell 73, on its merger with The SpringHill Company, the Los Angeles and New York-based entertainment company founded by basketball star LeBron James and Maverick Carter.

Fulwell 73 was founded by Ben Winston, James Corden, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner and has offices in London, Sunderland and Los Angeles. It has produced shows including The Grammy Awards and The Late Late Show with James Corden for CBS, Carpool Karaoke for Apple TV+, The Kardashians for Hulu and Friends: The Reunion for HBO’s Max, as well as documentaries Ed Sheeran: Sum Of It All for Disney+ and Sunderland ‘Til I Die for Netflix.

The SpringHill Company was founded in 2020, with a focus on film, TV, YouTube shows, merchandise and brand campaigns. Its credits include Space Jam: A New LegacyHustle and the Netflix Top Boy reboot.

The merged companies, who will operate under a yet to be confirmed new name, will concentrate on television, film and digital content, in addition to live events and brand strategy.

The Wiggin team was led by Corporate Partners, Michael Brader and Ben Whitelock, who were primarily supported by Clem Barrett, Sam Cheong, Esmé Nicholas and Lily Tyler. Wiggin’s corporate practice is widely recognised as the leading UK legal advisor in the independent TV M&A and investment market.
