Wiggin welcomes Billy Hinshelwood to its Film and TV Group

Wiggin is delighted to announce that Billy Hinshelwood is joining the firm from 1 October as a consultant, working primarily with Wiggin’s Film and TV Group.

Billy has long been one of the UK’s foremost media lawyers. He started his practice at Dentons and then led the media team at Marriott Harrison, before setting up his own practice 14 years ago. He represents many leading producers and other senior figures in the film and TV industry including David Heyman, the producer of the “Harry Potter” franchise and the “Paddington Bear” feature film and the Ian Fleming Estate.

Wiggin is the UK’s largest media law firm and its Film and TV Group represents producers, financiers, distributors and platforms across the media spectrum from first time producers to all of the US Studios.

Wiggin and Billy have already been co-counselling on a number of matters and this arrangement sees them formalise that collaboration for the benefit of both of their respective practices.
