The purpose of the survey, which is launched annually, is to enable DSIT to gather information from UK businesses, educational institutions and charities on the cyber security issues they face (if any) in order to inform government policy in this area. Ipsos will conduct the survey by telephone interviews from September 2023 to February 2024. A number of businesses have been selected at random to take part and Ipsos will issue invitations to senior personnel from those organisations with knowledge in this area. Answers are confidential and voluntary and respondents do not require any technical knowledge.
