Ofcom notes that over the next few years its remit will expand. The regulator has taken on new duties for video-sharing platforms and telecoms security, and the Online Safety Bill will give it an important new task of creating a safer life online.

As Ofcom takes on these new duties, the plan of work 2023/24 sets out its proposed activity to deliver on its mission to make communications work for everyone over the coming year.
