Insights Gambling Commission publishes answers to common questions received on how to comply with the CMA’s undertakings

The Commission has published additional information to the industry guidance in response to some common questions raised since the publication of the undertakings in February 2018.

In response to questions received on Undertaking 5, the Commission has explained its view that operators need not display a customer’s deposit and bonus balances separately within an in-game view, provided these are displayed clearly on the account home page.

The Commission has also offered its view on when customers should be informed that they are playing with bonus funds and the restrictions which apply (Undertaking 3), which becomes a requirement from 31 July 2018.
