News Wiggin advises Two Cities on sale of majority stake to STV Studios

We’re delighted to have advised the management team of Northern Irish high-end scripted drama production company, Two Cities Television, on the sale of a majority stake to Scottish production group STV Studios.

Two Cities, which was founded in 2016, is led by Michael Jackson, the former controller of BBC One and BBC Two, CEO of Channel 4 and chairman of Universal Television, and Creative Director Stephen Wright, former Head of Drama for BBC Northern Ireland. Its recent projects include two series of critically acclaimed police drama Blue Lights for BBC One and the BAFTA award-winning show Patrick Melrose starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
