Following the Government’s publication of a consultation on its proposals to significantly amend VGTR, TIGA has launched a survey to help inform its response to the consultation.

The Government’s proposals comprise significant amendments to VGTR in three areas:

1. removing the eligibility of European expenditure from VGTR and replacing this with a requirement for expenditure to be “used or consumed” in the UK;
2. raising or removing the £1 million subcontracting cap; and
3. replacing VGTR with an expenditure credit.
