The PSA has fined Gothamiax Ltd after investigating its subscription alerts service called “Every Day Saves”, which provided consumers with links to websites offering discounts and savings.

The PSA found that the company had charged consumers without sending them billing and subscription reminders messages and had not solved consumer complaints quickly, easily and fairly, in breach of the rules of Code 14.

The Tribunal formally reprimanded Gothamiax, fined it £100,000 and ordered it to refund any consumers who claim a refund. To read the adjudication in full, click here.
